Tal Cohen, an 18-year-old Israeli boy who lives with his family in Koh Samui, a sweet boy who was on his way home from work, was seriously injured in a motorbike accident.
Tal rides his motorbike from work in the early afternoon.
While driving back home it started raining heavily and the road became slippery.
A truck came from the opposite direction while another truck tried to surpass it, and drove up in front of Tal, who had to get off the road in order not to hit the surpassing truck.
When he left the road, Tal hit a concrete pole.
Fortunately, Tal is a responsible guy who always wears a helmet which saved his life, so his head wasn't hurt, but his body seriously crashed!
An ambulance brought him to the nearest hospital.
Now his measurements are constantly changing and he suffers from internal bleeding in his stomach and lungs, which is life-threatening.
Tal's blood type is very rare in Thailand (O-A) and due to massive blood loss his life was in great danger, the entire community of Koh Samui volunteered to help and look for blood donors to save his life.
Tal has now moved from the hospital in Koh Samui to Surat Thani in order to receive more appropriate medical treatment due to the severe wounds.
Tal is currently without proper medical insurance that can cover the very heavy medical expenses.
