The Rice Challenge 2022

A Koh Phangan initiative to provide bags of rice to The Burmese, in these tough times, who are in desperate need of food!

This island in Thailand relies heavily on tourism, where the majority of Burmese staff work in hotels and restaurants.

Due to CoVid-19 shutting down the island, they now have no job = no money = no food!

THE TARGET:

3000 bags of rice

Can you help the Burmese? By donating for them to get bags of rice?

100THB = one bag (around $3) This feeds one family for 5 days.

1,000THB = 10 bags

Many children are in the villages. The parents/ bred winner has to work long hours for little pay, in order to support the family. Not all parents have stable jobs and sources of income.
