The Story

Dear Members of the AIT Community,

A devastating 7.7-magnitude earthquake recently struck central Myanmar (Sagaing and Mandalay), with tremors felt across Thailand, China, and India. This disaster has claimed over 1,700 lives, left more than 3,400 injured, and caused widespread destruction—collapsing buildings and damaging critical infrastructure. Our thoughts are with all those affected by this tragedy.

In response to this urgent crisis, the AIT Alumni Association (AITAA) and the Office of Advancement and Alumni Affairs (OAAA), in collaboration with the AIT Student Union (SU), are launching a donation campaign to support the victims in Myanmar and Thailand.

We invite you to join us in extending solidarity and support to those in need. No matter the amount, your contribution can make a meaningful impact in helping affected communities rebuild and recover.
