Dogs being poisoned and brutally tortured - many will die!

Urgent need for a dog compound at a local Temple

The Monk at a local Buddhist Temple can help, but he can’t do it alone! He desperately needs you to provide a safe haven for these dogs.

Saving the lives of these desperate dogs is simply providing them with food, medical care and shelter. The Buddhist Temple is smack dab in the middle of this area where torturing dogs is encouraged.

Just this past week:

- 5 pups were saved as their Mum was poisoned

- 2 pups were saved as they were pelted with stones

- 3 dogs saved while being beat with poles at a local market

These dogs were brought to the temple by a kind-hearted person who rescued the dogs from their abusers. The monk wants to help, but has no means to support these animals.

Lanta Animal Welfare can build a dog haven, providing materials and workers at a low cost. The structure will be 10x5 meters, with a half-roof and elevated dog beds to keep them off the damp ground. This safe place will protect the dogs from the abusers in the community. It also gives a clean and private site for our vets to administer medical procedures and medications, as well as shampoo the injured dogs.

The estimated cost for this safe dog haven is 54,000 B/ $1,650 US. It is impossible for the temple Monk to afford this. He just can’t do this without you.

It’s so easy for you to provide these abused dogs a safe haven. All you have to do is donate.

Please open your heart and make a huge difference in the lives of these poor dogs, and for others that will then be rescued from the torture and brought to the dog haven you built, at the Buddhist Temple.
