My name is Jason, and this is one of the hardest messages I’ve ever had to write.

I am a father of two children and the primary caregiver for my 85-year-old mother here in South Africa. At this moment, I have no income and no immediate financial support. Despite doing everything I can to remain strong for my family, we have reached a point where I need to humbly ask for help.

The past period has been extremely difficult. I have been actively searching for work, offering services where possible, and exhausting every available resource — but right now I am unable to cover even our most basic needs. The weight of not knowing how I will provide food, school transport, and proper care for my elderly mother is something I carry every day.

I am trying to raise funds to help us get through this critical time. Any support received will go directly toward:

Food and groceries so my children do not go hungry

School-related needs and transport

Basic care and support for my elderly mother

Essential household utilities
