YOU CAN HELP PREVENT PARASITE DISEASE IN CATS
With Emergency Prevention Treatment
Lanta Animal Welfare is an animal rescue charity on Koh Lanta, Krabi. The charity has a population of 50 cats receiving medical treatment or waiting to travel to their forever homes. Managing the spread of parasite disease is always a challenge with a cat, and with 50 cats, it is of critical importance. Presently, there is an increase in cases of feline parasite disease. It is extremely painful and can be life-threatening.
Parasite Prevention Medicine is a topical ‘spot-on’ treatment that provides protection for 4 weeks. One dose is a drop applied to the back of the neck. It starts working within hours to eliminate and prevent disease from mites, fleas, ticks, heart worm, intestinal worms and much more. The topical application is quick and easy, and more importantly, it doesn’t stress the cat like an injection can.
The cats at Lanta Animal Welfare need to begin emergency parasite prevention treatment to eliminate the spread of parasite disease in our cats. One treatment cost 180 B for an adult cat. The monthly cost for treating 50 cats is 9,000 B. The treatment needs to continue for at least 6 months at a cost of 54,000 B.
