The Story

Tim (Timothy Prompun Henderson), one of the founders and the Director of Help Thai, recently ordained as a monk at the Khao Khun Phanom temple in Nakhon Si Thammarat. The temple is located in the family's home province and it is where 4 of the children in the Help Thai scholarship programme are located.

In order to give back to the local community of Phrom Khiri and to the monks that welcomed him during his time as a monk, he is looking to renovate the Dhamma Hall at the temple with new wallpaper. The Dhamma Hall is where the monks and the nuns go every day for morning and evening prayers. The local villagers use the Dhamma Hall every Buddhist day or for a specific ceremony.
