Raise funds for Krabi Animal Welfare's Animal Ambulance

KAW was lucky enough to have this old truck donated to us by a fellow rescuer. She's been a blessing, but sadly she just isn't reliable anymore. We need a newer more reliable vehicle to be our animal ambulance and we need your support and donations to help us get one!

An animal ambulance will ensure we can ALWAYS be available to pick up sick or suffering animals and get them to where they need to be! In order for us to be able to deal with emergency situations we need to be able to get them to the clinic as soon as possible. KAW doesn't have it's own clinic or vets on standby so that means we often need to travel 50km or more to reach animals deliver them to the vet. A reliable vehicle is so important. We are constantly bringing in animals for sterilisation, we are often on the road surveying in order to manage and locate animals that need medical care and we have to be able to respond to animals with emergency needs!!

Please help us reach our goal and ensure we are able to continue the important work we do. With your help we will be able to reach countless more sick and suffering animals.

After much thought the KAW team has decided to go for a minivan! Although not your typical pick-up, we believe this kind of vehicle would be a fantastic option. Minivans are readily available over here. They've been used to shuttle tourists and the public around for years which means there's loads of good quality, reasonably priced vans for us to choose from.

Not only that, minivans already have a roof and tonnes of inside space. Typically people add their own roofs to pick-ups at significant extra cost. No need for us!!

The good news is we've managed to secure a  couple of big, generous donations so although our online target is still pretty far away, we're actually closer than you think.

We need around 20,000 baht more to be able to buy our van. Thanks again to everybody who has supported us so far. Please continue to share this fundraiser so we can reach our goal. We are so close!!!

At the moment we are still looking into what options we have when it comes to choosing the right vehicle for us. What we do know is that we need something sturdy and reliable but that doesn't mean we need a brand new truck!! Every penny counts! If we can meet our target goal of 50,000 baht, it will greatly relieve some of the pressure. We will be able to spend more of our current donation fund on helping animals in need which of course, is our primary goal.
